Just as an aside is it worth buying these guys? I mean the GWS is $200 for 1 oz of silver, do they appreciate that much?

    Cheers

(edit: apparently not as the GWS is going for about $100 on ebay? )

The GWS had an MSRP of $150.

There were many dealers including myself, and Maggie from this forum who were selling it for close to $100, so definitely hasn't depreciated below that.

I'm going to assume this one will go up in price due to the mintage being only 2000 vs 5000 from the GWS.

Especially because this one is something priced at $80 vs $150 MSRP/$100 selling price for the GWS.

    Thanks again.

Browsing through their site I noticed a lot of older coins still for sale. For example the Star Wars set of 4 from 2011 with a mintage of 7500 (which I assume is low?). Is that because nobody wants them and hence they are unlikely to appreciate much in the future?

Amazing that they can win a licence that lucrative and make such awful coins for it. That should have been a massive earner and marketing coup for them, but not enough ambition and flair goes into the actual coin design.
That seem to have learned with the Dr Who coin, however.

Well, to be honest I went and had another look at the Great White and although it's a more dynamic design, the use of colour isn't as good imo. Some teeth marks would've been good though, kind of a series signature.
Both are better than the Perth Mint design for the Deadly & Dangerous which always looked to me like just out of shot is Adam Wests Batman hanging from a helicopter with a can of Bat anti-shark repellent spray. :p

Well, you're comparing the artists rendering to the real thing.

Take a look at the artists' rendering for the great white shark for example, looked a lot better as the shark was darker and had scratch marks, the water was brighter, etc.

I've been selling quite a bit of these guys, I just hope the 'real deal' is as good.

True, but the background colour has a bit more punch with the hammerhead. Then again I'm biased because I use that colour as a background on my site. All said and done, both are great and I can't see many being disappointed.
