I see Poppys quite a bit, but they are pretty much average circulated condition. I haven't bothered collecting any.

Scored two poppies today from the coffee girls, first in two weeks.

Andy28, you should save every poppy, just to take them out of circulation.

Coronation coins stopped appearing in Melbourne banks about three weeks ago.
Two weeks ago the 2012 $2 std was re-released, but only for one week.
(Documented 2012 mintage for first half of 2011/12 financial year is only 1.8m. Same as 2011 $2 std coin.
Hopefully we will get the final mintages in the RAMint's next annual report due in October!)
For the past weeks only mixed circulated coin bags have been available.

Bank (or branches) that order security rolls for customers recently had rolls of the Coronation coin.
You should ask at any bank/retailer you know that orders rolls as they may still have some!
Rolls I have seen so far are from Chubb (ANZ) and Armaguard (NAB).

If you can get hold of a roll grab it! The RAMint is no longer selling / offering rolls and the future of new rolled coins in AU is uncertain!
(There is something happening with rolled coin dispensers in banks I have heard about, but not yet seen with my own eyes.)
A C roll sold on eBay a few days ago for $350 and generally sell for over $320!

Any C coins you now see will be circulated. Even UNC coins are fairly badly bag-marked!
It is difficult to find an unmarked C coin! Any circulated C coins I see are marked!

I've got mine first two today. I've thought they were a little bigger, but they are nice any way. It's no wonder why every one is keeping them.

Thanks to Golden Chipmunk for selling them to me. :)

If there are just 2 in the bag I would just take them out and keep/sell them. If it were a full bag of purples I would keep it closed.

It's the same with many banks.

Will only get rolls if that is what customers order.

    Some banks/branches get security bags.
    Some banks/branches get rolls.
    Some banks/branches get neither (apparently).

Keep it sealed until you decide what to do with it. You bag has two coins in it - Coronation and 2013 std $2.
You could always put it up on eBay and see what happens!
Roll of 2013 $2 plus two Coronation coins went for $128 .

The 2013 std $2 will be a reasonably high mintage because 2011 and 2012 stds were very low.
Sadly we won't know exact 2013 std mintage until Oct 2014!

Any New UNC coin is worth putting aside until the marketplace determines its value and the exact minatge is known!

I'm really hoping that the RAM organise a 1 for 1 swap day in Melbourne!! Some of these coins are going for ridiculous prices on Ebay.
