Just checking on results for the fake panda competition and I noticed that when I used my loupe to have a look at the detail on my 2011 panda, I saw a tiny decimal point looking thing about 1mm on the top right hand point of the 2nd "1" in 2011. It's mirrored and under the loupe stands out quite clearly from the frosted background but is barely visible to the naked eye unless you knew it was there. Anyone else notice this on their 2011 Pandas?
I have what looks like the big eyed version see http://forums.silverstackers.com/topic-12460-2011-pandas-two-varieties.html
I'm no expert on the panda making process but maybe the frosted part wore away got knocked to reveal the mirrored finish underneath?
One of my pandas has this but in a different place - very small, usually only see if it catches the light.
I have five on this year non that I can see has this but three out of the five rattle in there capsules don't like that much as it marks/ wears the coins high points.
