    Would this be a waste of money for $2600 or a good investment ?

    Well post 2012 if you are alive it possibly will go down in price due to aztecs being lousy prophets OR if you are dead cause end of world you won't care. So simple answer wait till after 2012. Buy a 1 Kg lunar now to lock in POS and wait and see :)
