Will make a purchase soon, planning 100x1oz coins and wondering your perspective on the pros and cons of kooks vs lunar rabbits...2 questions:

1-) Would you think buying 2011 1oz Silver kooks is a good strategy...Or would you rather suggest 1oz Lunar rabbits?

    2-) How about 2011 1kg kooks vs 1kg rabbits?

In your experience does lunar end up beating kooks in numi value?

    Thanks...

1oz Lunars always outperform Kookaburras from a numismatic premium perspective.

Not so sure about the 1kg - buy them for their silver content, not numismatic potential (unless you can flog them over to Germany).

Don't think you can easily get 1oz Silver Rabbits anymore.
They are sold out at the mint now.

Yes, I've found it hard to get any Rabbit Lunars all sold out. 2011 has special meaning to me as it's year my baby will be born. So, only thing left are 2011 Silver Kooks. Happy stacking

Simple question, could someone explain to me, why lunar mouse 2008 (or lunar 2 mice :p) is selling at a lower or exact premium as 2011 kooks and rabbits? I would assume that a 2008 lunar coin, this is the first coin of the lunar 2 series isnt it, why it is not selling for higher premiums, is it just because missus dont want mice at home...This doesnt make sense when one considers ox and tiger are long gone from the market...Does anyone know the mintage counts of the lunar 2 coins?
