I'm currently trying to acquire these 2 silver coins to add to my personal collection and wanted to know what they usually go for.
I would like to get the 2008 gilded kook due to its low mintage and 1 2009 cuz I really like the design. I've seen 2009 gilde as well but couldn't find reference that year being gilded by the mint. Which leads me to believe it was gilded afterwards.

    I would say kook 08 $60-$65. Kook 09 $45-$50 and gilded $100ish?

2008 BU's seems to be very popular. even with the full mintage of 300,000, the best price I could find was $70 on the bay. Two of the major distributors in US wants $90 to $110. IDK about the Perth Mint's gilded ones, but the ones from a Germany bay seller goes for around $80 (applied aftermarket I think).

And I have on the other teme ask if 31 for a Kookaburra 2008 is a good price.
Now I see that this is a really good price for this silver coin, so I will buy all 5 of them, which are available.

I'd only buy gilded coin that comes with COA otherwise it may not be authentic. 3000 mintage is low and I really like the 08' kooks specially that its gilded.

Two of the best designs the Perth Mint's artisans have realeased so far.

Don't bother too much about price if you're just buying 1 of each. Particularly if you're looking for guilded versions.

If you can get one for sub-$100 outside of Australia you're doing well.
