2002 Panda is it a fake or not???? New Photos

    Hi Guys,

    could some of you more knowledgeable chaps take a look at the following scans of the 2002 panda I just received from an Ebay buy and let me know if it is real or not. It is still in a sealed baggie and capsule and all up weighs 39 g. It seems to look pretty good to me but I am very new at panda hunting.

    the sealed packing , OMP is definatly wrong ,dont know about the coin , I do not have one in front of me , someone here should know quickly...

    The legs do not seem to have enough detail now that I have looked at it under a magnifier. Think I might be putting a claim into paypal.

    The photo is too blurry to be very sure on the coin, but the packaging is 100% bad.

    I would like to see a detailed photo of the temple side. Something looks wrong.

    Yes the foot and the bamboo where it crosses near the edge of the coin near the .999. It isn't properly contrasted either. Also it looks like the legs are showing not enough "fur".

    Thanks for your comment, I will await a few more then contact Ebay and the seller.

    ok just had the panda scanned in an XRF (I think that is the correct name) and it is a ...................FAKE. Off to pay pal for me. Also had a 2000 and 2001 scanned and they came up fake as well. Hope the 2012's I got from bullion bourse are ok :)

    Yep, thanks for the close up pics. Definitely a bad bear.

    Many of the fine details are wrong.

    Where did you get this batch of phoney Pandas from?
