Hi this is the $2 "variety" I mentioned to Steve (Aurora Et Luna ) at Petersham [imgz=http://forums.silverstackers.com/uploads/382_australia-2005-2-dollar.jpg][/imgz]
How was my reply obnoxious ?,Im very dissapointed I try to contribute to the forum and i cop negativity.Your reply was unnecessary and to quote you ,obnoxious.
Don't see what's so different about this coin variety? Mind explaining it to the rest of us who don't have telepathic powers over the internet what you are talking about?
What do you expect ,you start a post with a pic & no details When you get asked a question ,you respond with you should have been there Please answer the question everybody wants to know, you could post a pic of a normal coin to compair
Maybe a picture of a genuine $2 coin would help people! If people actually compared this to a real coin and couldn't see anything wrong then no wonder these forgeries circulate.
I pulled out a $2 I had lying around.... As far as I can tell, I have exactly the same variety. ?? Ahhh.. We are looking at the reverse, not the obverse... How perverse.... It's a double tailed coin?
Thank You Oasis for seeing the variety.I never any of my posts replied " you should have been there ".For legal reasons I choose to call it a "variety" or better word a "circulated copy".If you look at the aboriginal his effigy is cartoonish.sorry if my telepathic powers could not penetrate your foil hats
Really, to be honest, how many people give a toss about these 'tokens' anyway $2 coin - actual worth $0.06 (less than a $1 coin at $0.08) pre '46 sixpence - actual worth $2.74 (even a post '46 is worth $1.74)
ditto and not having a magnifying glass around, I wont be able to tell any difference. So, if you could tell us.......:/
