2 Australian Gold Sovereigns for sale

    These two Aussie sovereigns are for sale
    First one is a 1912 Perth Mint priced at $475 inc post.
    The second is a Young Head 1886 Melbourne Mint priced at $490 inc post
    Both are St George Reverse. Both are Numismatic coins not Bullion. More to follow in the next few days

    I think he has taken 2 pictures of the coins side by side
    so left is the 1912 right is the 1886
    pity the 1886m isn't a shield, I would be all over that :)

    well maybe $5k if your willing to pay retail I have an 1880s inverterd A, S-3855 Shield ∀ICTORIA sovereign in AU50 you can have for $15,000 :p

    Question: is the only difference between 'numismatic' and 'bullion' sovereigns the date?

    As in key dates classed as numis as they are rare, and common dates bullion solely based on the AGW?
