    hay guys and girls, can any one tell me about this coin and what it would be worth if anything......1997 pure australian gold coin weighing 7.40 grams. It is a coca-cola limited edition coin made from 24 carat gold.

    Each coin has a certificate of Authenticity . The coin is dated 1997 .
    The revers side has a design symbols of Australian .
    The design has been done by Puzzle the world renound husband & wife team Ilaria Cornaggio Medici & Angiolo Logi .
    These have been produced in their Sydney foundry .
    The coin is 24 carat gold of the highest purity .

    That was me!!

    I hit the buy it now button in error.

    Seller was really good about it and ended up selling it to me for $365.

    I remember he had 2 listed and someone else on SS got the other one for $365.01

    Hands up who that was?

    Ok so the $550 she is asking for it is proberly a bit high??
    it happens to be in a bundle of coins i am looking at but she wants me to take them as one lot....
    any one wanta buy/ swap a coca-cola coin?

    If I was to buy it, I'd pay $351 which is the price of a sovereign from W Davis & Sons.

    Coca Cola 7.4 gram Gold Sovereign 'coin'/round auction on Ebay finishes in approx 5 hours.

    I have confirmed with the buyer that it indeed comes with the original presentation case (not pictured in above link/listing).

    Buyer did not express no for a cash pickup for all you SEQ - Brisbane - Gold Coast locals.

    I was ho humming here and there but meh...

    I am surprised this 'round' does not fetch twice that. Perhaps a forgotten investment opportunity. Surely there are over 10,000 fans in the world.
