    In fact, if it was NGC and the auction allowed for international bidders it might've been over $3100.

    A huge amount of bids as well.Wonder why he only sells in the USA? as Fishball said it might have well gone for a lot more if he allowed International Bidders I have a nice 96 double seal Panda going put him out in the Bamboo paddock for awhile. I personally think 2012 will be a big year for Panda collectors
    What is the mintage of the BU Silver Panda in 2012 does anyone here know I read somewhere it was going to be EIGHT MILLION seems a lot compared to previous years.

    PFOOOOAR!!! That is one very very profitable Panda!

    I get all excited when I see stuff like this... I feel that Pandas give us all an opportunity to get exposure to the growing numismatic Pandamonium at an early stage.

    It's kinda like going back to 1930s, and everyone having an equal opportunity to get themselves a 1930 Penny... except this time, it is with a population of 1.4Billion (plus more), and it is not isolated to just one single year group, but there are many opportunities where everyone can hopefully profit from and have fun.

    1. Bullion Pandas (E.g 2011 1oz Silver Pandas)
    2. Proof Pandas (E.g 1KG, 12oz, 5oz, 1oz Silver Pandas, etc)
    3. Commemorative Pandas. (E.g. Munich Pandas)

    It also has a stop-loss by being made of a precious metal.
