???1986 liberty dollar, upside down

    Dear ss member,
    I have a 1986 silver liberty Ellis Island dollar that appears strange to me.
    When I turn the coin around it appears that one of the sides has been stamped upside down.
    Is this normal or a error?

    What a dill I feel like at the moment- but thanks for the replies.
    Spend a good 10 minutes googling upside down ellis island etc. before I cracked the irrits and decided to ask on here.
    Anyways thanks again for going out of your ways.

    Same thing happened to me when I 1st got a morgan dollar... Bit freaky I didn't know of it was real or a copy
    Or a misstrike or what! Lol

    I thought, surely they didnt stuff it up that badly at the mint, then I thought fake, then I thought error coin and $ signs. Now i think idiot!
