    This sub-forum inspired me to get off my backside and take a look through my sovs.

    These are probably the most interesting from the stack (apologies for the amateur photos):

    1883-M

    Bluesheet seems to indicate this one is semi-rare?

    Not for it's rarety, but I think it is a really nice example. Do you think this is worth grading?

    Is grading popular in Australia for sovs? I buy graded pandas only because they are popular in the states.

    The 14S is a very nice and well struck coin, but no worth to spend money to grade.
    The 83M only grade VG.

    I would have a hard time grading the Young Victoria any higher than VG
    The 1914 S maybe an EF
    Maybe someone here can do a better job from these pics.
    Might be a good idea to bring it to one of the meets in Brisbane and let Projack have a proper look.

    Indicative auction values in recent Downies catalogues would indicate reputably graded pre-dec Australian coins from PCGS or NGC command a higher premium. Definitely exceeding the $14 grading fee.
