Quite frightening really, a little too quick for my liking. Still, I'm not complaining, gives me more breathing space if (when) a correction occurs.

guess price on friday close. 1800+, 1900+?
    GSR roughly 45.5

By the way, i see more and more signs from jewelry shops with signs we buy gold, signs are considerably bigger and i would say screaming at you. But, but, jewelers are not buying only gold,
recently they've added .... platinum to the list.

Asia votes for gold (and silver) once again this morning is my bet. Lets see what the Old World says this afternoon when the Europe and US markets open. Asia is smart, they know what real money is, they always have.

Yeah, I agree, it is rising very quickly.

It will definitely correct, just a matter of when.

However, having said that, we've seen these $50 days before with gold and ultimately, it has held its value.

I'm not a fan of this one bit, when it corrects Silver is going to suffer. I have always favoured Silver so while i'm happy allot here are happy i'm an old grump looking at the charts.

One the one hand, yay, on the other, I did a vault audit yesterday of personal holdings and I'd double counted four sovereigns, so I've got an ounce less than I though :/

one of the more recent (and balanced) articles which I found useful in comparing gold to other commodities, as well as explaining yesterdays dead cow bounce relative to gold and other commodities. A good article as it doesn't push a blame game or contain any politics.

I'm the opposite, it's getting away too fast and there may not be a dip.

I'm excited because I think it can go up a lot more
before it pauses for a while.
    $2000 in a few weeks?
