That's also my opinion, but if the coloring is selective (which is the case here, only the horses picture) done in a metallic fashion (which I think is the case from Perth Mint?) then I see it as a plus. Any comments about that metallic? Did you actually see such coloring already? If so, why exactly do you judge them that 'kid' / toy way?
I actually like these. LOL. and have a couple 2 oz rolls. http://www.apmex.com/product/80025/2014-1-oz-silver-australian-year-of-the-horse-colorized-sii
Ainsliebullion.com.au have the Perth Mint 1oz horse with lion privy. They seem to be one of the first dealers to have the privy coins available.
And apparently they are making 200,000 coins? well there goes the collectibility of the lunar series....
Are there any published figures for the mintages of colourised lunars? I have a coloured 5oz snake that I'd like to know the mintage of. Thanks
Thanks MB, is that figure published online anywhere? I assume they are minted up till the end of the lunar series? Cheers
Thanks. Finally found it, it was under a proof section which is why I didn't look there. Got there in the end.
