What I meant was, I do not think you will find those coins anywhere at that price

My bad - missed the word "coloured" in that post. I was referring to bullion.

I hope PM doesn't mint anymore now. Like to see the premium head back north on these things.

They have to mint something, I only got one of each to add to the collection but I might go back for some more 10oz.

It would be nice if they just churned out some bullion bullion coins. Something like an ASE or a Maple. Don't get me wrong, I like the dragons but I don't care for the Kooks or the Koalas and I am not keen on paying the premiums.

I just want a decent, Perth Mint branded round for a couple of % over spot without the need to change the picture each year or collect a series of them. Surely there is a market for people who want a budget minted product from a local supplier.

From a communication to distributors (my highlighting). Basically the 1/2oz is freely available again, the 2oz and 5oz face further limited allocations later in the year. So anyone speculating on the 2oz and 5oz being scarce once the Dragon finishes minting might be in luck.

^^^ Maybe its true about the production issues or its a con to drive up demand in their less sought after sizes following the sell-out of the 1oz size. But hey its the Perth Mint, they have hardly been ....how should be say.... transparent with the truth (think privies!).

Why would you bother making a 2oz that sells for $80 when you can make a 1oz with some cardboard and plastic that sells for $110.

I received my 5oz'ers today. The 1/2oz's and 2oz's should be in by Saturday.

Was a long 6 month wait.... Ordered and paid September 22.

Got my 1/2 & 2oz dragons from Bullion Bourse yesterday :)

My first 2oz lunar - gotta say I think the size of the coin is perfect, can really see the design plus nice and chunky to hold on to :D.

Looks like they're reminting these again.

Wish I'd spent on more dragons instead of bloody kooks!@#

I knew they were scamming us saying all that limited production etc when released. Holding off all year and emailing their customers that there will be turtle all of them so get in quick.
Its a clever way by them to sell shedloads but just not cricket IMO

So is there any final mintage numbers for the 5oz and 2oz? Been thinking about getting a couple of 2oz from bullionbourse
