Perth Mint released 1/2oz silver proofs to overseas market first? 4000 mintage.

Official release is 1st November. Now already being offered on auction site even before official release.

Wonder what Ron Currie has to say about this.

    Item 250903002650.

they say its a bullion gilded coin, not seen them on the PM site or anywhere else for that matter.

maybe they are fakes? PM coins dont need fakes, neither does my stack look what they did to the pandas cant even sell them unless slabbed. JMHO

I think these are after market add on. I have seen a lot of the series 1 dragon gilded like this mostly coming out of germany. If you notice, the claws are gilded gold as well whereas the original perth mint gilded dragon has silver claws.

Half ounce silver Proof Dragon original issue from Perth Mint, due to be release on 1st Nov but now already on sale in auction site. Mintage of 4000 of which probably 20 sets are reserve for official release on the actual day >:), which will sell out in 60 seconds flat due to "unprecedented demand".

Let's hope the Perth Mint website has been overhauled before this release so we can actually buy it online. Thank goodness I had an international calling card so I was able to call in from the states and get my typeset dragon.

Nothing's going to happen in 1 month Felix, they probably won't even get the upgrades planned yet let alone actually do it.

This is most likely what's going to happen:

1 month later - A few emails are sent around IT, they decide to upgrade
3 months later - A powerpoint presentation is created and presentations are given by IT
4 months later - A project team is established to spearhead the effort
6 months later - The project team contacts stakeholders in the project and asks for their input and considerations
8 months later - The project team enters the tender process in trying to obtain a decent contract price for fixing the website
12 months later - Finally, the contractor finishes the website yeahhhhhh

    That's if we're lucky :p
