Are there any major anticipated events that could drastically affect the price of silver (either up or down)? What about in the rest of January or early February? I have an order lined up (25oz in silver bars, 4 ASE, 1/10 oz gold) on Monarch currently totaling $999.18. I almost placed it last weekend when it was in a "dip" at $28.50. Obviously, I'm glad I resisted. Ready to pull the trigger, just want some input -Andrew O
25 ounces. If spot goes down $1. Makes a difference of $25 to your purchase. Is that really worth worrying about? I guess it might be if you're on a super tight budget.
just do it. In 1 or 2 years time when spot is $50 per ounce you won't even notice the $1 spot difference and wished you bought $2000 worth.
I agree I work on if you have the money get it. I know I could have got more for my money over the last week, however I now have it and am not tempted to spend on anything else.
Interesting new comment from Mrsilvergoldsilver, the person who posted the "Part 3 - Silver Manipulation Explained" vid on youtube: ----- MrSilvergoldsilver ALERT: I am a buyer of more physical at $25.50-26.50. Next week should give you this opportunity to buy at these levels. This range might be the bottom of 2011-lets see what happens! Either way, my wallet is open and whats left in it will be trading my worthless paper in for solid maples. NOTE: I am not buying US Eagles anymore, I do not trust that they are pure silver. And ANY tubes I get I always pick a random coin and rigorously test it to make sure its not plated, fake, etc. (6 hours ago) -----
Weakness in the metals now can end as quickly as it began. When the metals turn, this next move should be breathtaking.
Fake ASE's? Surely not. Why would Maples be any less susceptible to being faked. Given that PM supply some of the blanks that get made into ASEs I would be very suprised if any from the mint came out fake.
Great insight regarding the real value of waiting... $25 is pretty negligible at this point. After quite a bit of contemplation I actually bumped up my order to approx $1250 USD, after shipping and other fees. -20 ASE -1/10 oz Gold Eagle w. presentation box -12 oz silver bullion -1 silver maple -1 oz "generic .999 silver" from apmex (grab bag type deal) This'll add 34 oz of silver to my stack, leaving me at a healthy 76 oz of silver (and a small chunk of gold) to sit on until I start working again this summer. I'll likely be placing the orders tomorrow. Any objections? -Andy O
Statements like the one that guy made are why people think we are nut jobs and apparently some of us are. The US government would not risk producing fake ASE. If the US government produced fake ASE it could lead to a questioning of all US currency and be the tipping point for the destruction of the USD and the beginning of US hyperinflation. There is sufficient silver mined in the US to meet the demand for ASE. When people write things like this guy did, it is hard to take anything else they say seriously.
Where? I did a search and all I saw was gold plated ASE. http://completed.shop.ebay.com/i.ht...SALE_CURRENCY=0&_sop=12&_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_rdc=1
