Yeah I grabbed one of the Dragon Phoenix coins too just for the sake of having one in my collection. It's a nice coin, but I think there's just a little too much going on - you really need to focus on it to see everything as opposed to the design standing out and being easily readable

I know of a few dealers who are still advertising them so they're still available

I was in at Gold Stackers just before their xmas break and the guy I regularly deal with their told me he was pretty sure they had a bunch that they were holding back on and planned to sell in Jan. They open tomorrow so maybe keep an eye out on their site this week

    Thanks m8
I only use 1 the 1 supplier for my purchases just easier for me that way.
He is going to have a look around tomorrow to see if he can pick them up from 1 of his suppliers.
The design is cool with a few negatives but it's the mintage of 50000 and release of 5000 into Australia that interests me.

I had no doubt the colorized rooster would look stunning, and they didn't disappoint. I know some folks don't care for colorized silver coins but I like most if not all variants of silver coins, and this one is on the list for the collection.

This is another 'looks better in hand' coin. I love the details and vibrant colours.

A tin of Royal Australian Mints (made in China). Or maybe it's a tin of raw milkspots before being applied to coins?

a bit an unusual offering to aquire collectibles as bullion, I noticed
they started to appear on local market and on Ebay.

I'd say if the mint liquidates imperfect coins in such manner, good on them.
(all the bars/coins I got in the lot have tiny patches of toning/milking)

Unfortunately, only 4 out of the 5 were available, some got faster or that coins had
    no imperfections o_O

Latest pickups, the 2017 britannia "waves" have imperfections in the same exact spots on each coin that the camera didn't seem to pick up. We won't be getting any more 2017s even if we do find another good deal on them...
