Just snapped a family gathering pic of all of the official Intrinsic Tender XAG issues to date - excuse the wobbly pic under poor lighting!

Left to Right with current mintages:

Silver Stackers Penny Type 1 (Double Mirror) - 500 minted, CLOSED
Silver Stackers Penny Type 2 (Mirror/Frosted) - 500 minted, still in production
Silver Stackers Shilling Type 1 (Frosted/Mirror) - 25 minted, still in production
Silver Stackers Shilling Type 2 (Double Frosted) - 300 minted, still in production
Silver Stackers Shilling Type 3 (Double Mirror) - 12 minted, CLOSED
Silver Stackers Shilling Type 4 (Mirror/Frosted) - 25 minted, CLOSED
2013 Buffalo (Double Mirror) - 10,000+ minted, still in production

There may be a handful more examples of each that were produced by the minter as samples for internal use, but in the single digits only, and they are not counted as part of the official mintage.

The Shilling Type 3 is the rarest - only about 12 were struck, and they were only sold at the Silver Stackers meeting in Melbourne. First time I've seen a stampede to the front of the room. Type 1 and 4 are also a low mintage. We haven't shut the gate on minting more Shilling Type 1s yet.

Obviously the Buffalo with the lower prices have been more attractive to buyers! I thought we had made more of the double frosted Shillings to date, was surprised it was so few, but most sale have been single examples. The buffalos on the other hand we have been making regular sales of boxes of 500 or more at a time.

It's doable, but the cost of the die is the setback. All of the Australian made rounds we've sold have been at cost - I don't think we recouped die costs on any of them. Labour of love :/

The double frosted shilling/ram is actually a really nice round, the ram's head looks fantastic - the price is the turnoff, but unlike the Buffalo, they are Australian-made.

Just reflects the cost of getting a product made locally within Australia.

I'm very surprised at how few of the Penny Double Mirror there are.

Apparently GoldStackers have 191 in stock!

Does anybody know the final mintage and also the final mintage for 2014?

I think you should go back to the RAM better than the buffalo

That double mirror (type 3) was a bargain at just 2oz - but glad to see it complete the set :)
