Sounds like that was published in 2010 (the reference the author makes to "the new 2010 issues" when referring to the Koala) Possibly a 7 year old article, and pretty obvious content for the most part I didn't really take anything new/worthwhile out of it *EDIT* Article was actually from Sept 16. Not sure why he said "the new 2010 koala" Author also did The Best 10 http://www.silvermonthly.com/the-10-best-silver-coins-for-investment/
Typical....my silver coin collection is as shitty as my stock portfolio.. I don't have any of the best 10 but lots of the worst.
Seven out of the top ten! But mostly towards the bottom of the list. It would be nice to get some more American junk silver, last time I bought any was when the Australian Dollar was flying high against the USA dollar and I was winning quite a few eBay auctions.
It's the most absurd article I've read in a long time. For starters, the author assumes, for no good reason at all, that the price of silver is always going to be rising. Next, the author doesn't even know how a list works. If the author suggests that numi and large coins are eliminated right from the start, then that should either be items 1 and 2 or not even be on the list at all. This author sounds like any number of pumper-dumper perma bullshit artists that I've come across over the past few years.....the type of person who lies through the teeth because he himself has a self interest in promoting specific products. Additionally, the only coins I have made profit on so far since buying coins are numismatic coins....if I were stupid enough to sell my ASE's during this same period, I'd take a huge loss. Rhetoric like that contained in this article should be treated as the dangerous poison that it is. .
Chinese Pandas are not a good investment, is this guy kidding. If you buy 2017 Pandas now at 25 USD each your telling me they won't go for 30.00 or more in 2 years. They will and they do appreciate in value as time marches on.
