    Hi All,

I've been looking around but can't seem to find exactly what I'm after

Does anyone have, or is able to list all of the available Perth Mint 1oz Bullion Coins?

Specifically, I am just after a list of what Silver 1oz coins are out there as I am trying to get one of each for my collection. I'm not looking at coloured coins or any specials, just the standard yearly released coin

    Kookaburra - 1990-2017
    Koala - ? - 2017
    Stockhorse - 2014 & 2015
    Kangaroo - ? - 2017
    Wedge Tailed Eagle 2014 - 2016
    Crocodile - 2014
    Funnel Web - 2015

Are there any other animals? And can someone confirm what years are available? Eg. There is a different Kook for every year from 1990-2017, only 3 years of WTE etc

    Lunar Series

    Monkey
    Mouse
    Dragon
    Snake
    Horse
    Goat
    Rabbit

    Are there any other ones?

Any input/assistance would be very appreciated :)

    Prefer encapsulated but not fussed

    Forgot the Ox too

I've just looked through all the relevant PDF's thanks to Trident and I have now composed a list of what I will be sourcing to collect

All 1oz, and just want to chase down 1 of each

    All Kooks from 1990-2017
    All Koala's from 2007-2017
    14,15,16 Wedge Tailed Eagle
Croc, Stock Horse, Red Kangaroo 16/17 and Funnel Web
Lunar Series II Mouse, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster

I've got a few of them already, but at least I now know all of the available ones I need to complete my sets. I reckon a few of them might be very hard to find though :(

It might become hard to get every 1 oz kook for a reasonable price: There are plenty of different privy mark releases availabe with a little mintage only.
I know a german web site which have listed most of some with sligltly rounded figures here: http://www.bullionweb.de/silbermuenze/kookaburra/privy-mark.html
There are also since 2004 the 1 oz gilded kooks available as wel as since 2012 the 1oz high relif in proof. Some special fair releases have been issued in proof and color

For most of these coins it is not a problem to get them for a reasonable price. The only exception might be the 1oz Koala with chines privy mark (letters) of 2013.
Although the official mintage figures are higher with 10,392 coins then the ones of the one of 2014 with only 8,397 it is much harder to get it.
See mintage figures from PM here: http://www.perthmint.com.au/documents/The Australian Silver Bu Privy Coin 2011 to 2016.pdf
Reason is that roughly only 500 coins got available world wide as free float (most remained in China as collector sets)
while about 75 percentage of the 2014 koala privy coins became available on free market.

    Awesome, thanks Scrat

At this stage I am just going to collect the originals and have been able to source most so far. I won't be looking at privys, high relief etc for now - just the standard ones but thanks again for the great info :)

I've been spending a fair bit of time looking through the Perth Mint publications in the link above

    http://www.perthmint.com.au/numismatic-mintages.aspx
    http://www.perthmint.com.au/investment-bullion-bars-and-coins-mintages.aspx

Basically, there is all of the Bullion Coin releases and all of their Numismatic Coins releases, but I have a couple of questions, again in relation to 1oz coins

    1. Can anyone explain to me why the 2014 Stock Horse is in the Bullion range, but the 2013, 2015 and 2016 Stock Horses are in the Numismatic range?

    2. I cannot find the 2015 Kangaroo in either releases? According to Gold Stackers there were 300,000 2015 Kangaroos made for USA, but 50,000 of them stayed in Australia - because they were made for USA is that why they don't show in either the Bullion or Numismatic release information?

    3. Any idea why the 2016 Numismatic information has not been published, and when it might be? I know most of what has been released in 2016, but am looking for clarification particularly for the Five Blessings coin - I assume it's Numismatic considering only 10,000 were made but would love to see all of 2016 release info

Not easy questions I know, but if anyone could help that would be awesome :)

    Thanks again mate

Quite an interesting read, and I noticed that it was mentioned that the 2015 is not listed on the Pert Mint mintages list (as I asked about) so I got an answer to that now :)

In regards to the security feature added in the 2016 one (The little A in Australia) do any other coins from them have this feature yet? I've actually got a 2016 (And I'll be grabbing a 15 and 17 soon) so I might see if I can find a magnifying glass to see the security A

Think they are released around March but more experienced members might like to weigh in here

Thanks Stoic - would be good if someone could clarify for sure, but I guess I was initially querying it because the 2016 bullion data is there, but not the numismatic date which seemed odd

So far I think it's only the 2015, 2016 and 2017 1oz Silver Kangaroo bullion that has the micro-laser engraved letter 'A' .

Yeah the 16 and 17 do, not sure if the 15 does. I too believe these are the only coins to have this security feature so far

Well it was good to get answers regarding the 15 Roo and it looks like the 2016 Numismatic details might not be out for a few more months so I guess that just leaves Q1. Anyone know why the 2014 Stock Horse is Bullion listed, as opposed to the 13, 15 and 16 being Numismatic listed? I would of thought the 14 would be Numismatic, but apparently not
