That's what everyone said 6 months ago too, it was guaranteed, the AUD as a result was going to tank to 50c. Didn't happen.

We are still a good bet. Not as good as the u.s. dollar but we don't have the kind of debt other countries have. Also Singapore dollar will catch a bid. Back to 50 cents....I doubt it. We will ride the coat tails.

I am the biggest pessimist on this Forum, and I will not be selling an ounce before SHTF Day dawns or I take my last breath, whichever comes first.

Actually, probably a year or so AFTER SHTF Day dawns, depending on just how it all pans out.

As for the 'trigger', I expect that will be world wide printing by the G20, in the Quadrillions.

If we had more educated people in this world that would raise PM's. Instead of morons arguing if climate change exists we could actually spend time/money trying to fix or find ways around it. A lot of new technology would come of that. Also another space race would do us good.

It's not about socialism. It's about learning facts of science. Things that are indisputable because they're math. Not belief systems.

It's religion that deals with irrefutable, science is accepted as confirmed unless evidence arises that disproces it.

Math formula and theorems can have proofs, but even they are open to peer review.

That said the most educated people in the world are yet to disprove climate change.

All the minds, great or not, should fully back their own opinions and ensure they are open to channing their mind with compelling information.

Sceptics, by definition, aren't dumb and should be heard.

Pro climate change people should understand that science is never proven and by design should be open to Sceptics - they are still testing Einstein's light theories.

    Just hear each other out.

And even though we have yet to prove time travel because we don't have the technology to do so the math still says its possible. My point is at some point you just have to accept all the evidence that's available as true. For example when cyanobacteria "eat" the sun and "poop" out gas which then becomes the atmosphere. That's one form of climate change. Something like that isn't open for debate. That's not something you can be skeptical about. That's just the way it is.

This is why I keep brought up that education plays a roll in all of this. The more educated people are about simple things like this it will free up our collective minds to work on more important things. Like going to Mars and Terraforming it. Which by the way, we will have to induce climate change there if we ever hope to live on Mars as we do here on Earth. Which will probably never happen unless we can figure out a way to fire up the core of Mars. But that's a subject that can take up a whole thread of its own.
