I put $20 into a Sportsbet account that I was going to put on Trump, but I totally forgot to do it.
Now they tell me I can't take it out until i turn it over.
I'm more than happy to take a punt on something, and possibly walk away with nothing.
but I know pretty much nothing about sports, so it would be totally blind.
anyone here got an idea of what I could bet on?

they aren't offering odd's on either of those,
but i can bet on Conor McGregor to become Governor of Nevada before 2024 at 201.00
that could be a bit of fun.

Applies to Julian Assange successfully leaving the UK (England, Ireland, Scotland or Wales) before 2020 without being arrested.

Will Assange escape the UK before 2020?
    Markets (1)
    Yes 1.33
    No 3.00

No is a good value bet IMHO. ;)

    Read the fine print.

If it is cash money then it may need to be turned over at odds greater than X. Typically this could be something like 1.50

I would suggest betting on the 3rd Test Cricket. There is a "Draw No Bet" market where you can back South Africa at 1.50. That might meet your turnover requirement and if it's a draw then it might still count as a turnover bet even though technically it's a void result.

Yea, could be. But you never know, given how he helped trump, he might get pardoned from the US.
But i don't want to place a stupidly long term bet anyway...
I'm thinking i could just bet on Aussies to lose the 3rd test.. pretty much a sure thing, even if the odds are crap :p

I couldn't find anything on the website, so I called them up, and the guy was nice enough to wave the "you have to turn your money over" rule, and just put the cash back into my account.

so no bet anymore, I never really gamble anyway so I'm not missing out on anything.

and the way our media is behaving, even if it did happen, would it be officially recognized?
