A couple of years ago I obtained a 1 oz BHAS silver bar in a presentation case. I haven't had much success in finding any information about this bar, or the company itself. It appears that somewhere along the line, BHAS was merged into another company, and I think that company might have been merged into a company called Nyrstar. Can anybody confirm this?

Since I obtained my BHAS bar, I have never seen another offered for sale. Any thoughts on mintages, or if there are other 1 oz issues from BHAS? Do these bars ever turn-up for sale? Thanks everybody.

Nyrstar merged into Oz Minerals but the smelting operations were sold to Umicore. BHAS 15kg bars are actually fairly common down here, as for 1ozers, they're probably a tad more collectible but people aren't scrambling to get them.

Nyrstar is still around. They have a zinc refinery in Clarksville, TN here in the states.
