The best way to gauge what the are worth would be eBay. Do an advanced search for for sold items world wide. Not saying it is the best guide but it is a starting point. Things like conditions and where it is popular Chnages value.
Decided to google this, because I was bored. These people http://www.iwf.net/competitions/world-championships/ say the event was in China in 1995. Might explain the Asian characters on the coin. Googling the event and the coin, I found this, looks like an old pricing guide?
