I found a new neat looking silver coin on the First Coin Company's website. I remember growing up hearing how valuable meteorites can be and that museums and wealthy collectors have paid fortunes for chunks of metal that crashed to earth from. I just found a tidbit of info which states "Current price of 1g Chateau Renard Meteorite is around $300" The new silver coin I found is described as "Burkina Faso CHATEAU RENARD METEORITE FRANCE Silver coin 1000 Francs Premium Antique finish 2016 with Real Meteorite 175 years old 1 oz" on this page: https://firstcoincompany.com/S/burk...h-2016-with-real-meteorite-175-years-old-1-oz It looks like the piece of meteorite has its own separate COA. The story of this meteorite is interesting too.....it fell to earth 175 years ago. .
Thanks for sharing. Is there somewhere written or do you maybe know how much weigh piece of meteorite in each coin?
