Bah. RXL was suspended from official quotation at 9:37 and looks like they won't be back until next week so I am done for the day already.
Whilst disappointed I didn't put my pick in last night ( would have gone with byr again) happy with my rl purchase of BYRO also had cued up an order for AHK but missed that boat

Thanks to Miniroo for hosting a bit of fun and putting up a prize! Im an avid reader of the forum although i don't post much. Always looking to learn from others trading strategies and ideas and enjoy the constructive discussions on the forum. Cheers
Congrats Sid. A definitely worthy winner. Thanks miniroo for putting it all together. Something a bit different and I did learn a few things this week. One thing I learnt was that my strategy was poor. But also poking around some of these penny stocks (that I don't normally touch) was an eye opener.
I wouldn't say you did poorly at all, you made 35% for the week, if you played like that with $2000 to start, compounded you probably would earn a million a year. I tried a few methods, one was gut instinct, another was to follow the big losers in hope they would bounce next day and another was to look for late announcements that were price sensitive. in real life trading I have found announcements to be very tricky, it's hard to beat the day traders at their game, they can play with your head.
