hello In order to avoid confusion, i'd like to note that i successfully ordered one set of these from chinesemedals.com, but i had to try 3 times before my paypal transaction succeeded. At the time of ordering there were only 3 pcs of the non-coloured version in stock, and because of my 3 attempts, the site now lists the item as out of stock. I emailed barsenault and andrewlee10 about this and hopefully they can resolve the issue soon, so that others can order the 2 remaining sets. Best regards, and thankyou to barsenault and andrewlee for their wonderful web shop. (edit: once i become a millionaire very soon now, i will definiately order more coins)
received my small batch today, very nice, thx andrewlee10. to those questioning this kind of unconventional numismatics, well, i understand people that only accept and collect traditional coins, some even refuse anything containing anything other than pure silver, no colours, bimetals etc. personally i'm too poor to buy traditional rare numismatics, and i have no issues with modern, state of the art upcoming minting technologies, in fact, i'm becoming somewhat of a sucker for all these new coins made with lasers and precision robots and whatnot.. and besides, collecting them makes sense from a budget standpoint in that sense, these unusual pure silver notes are not only very unconventional, very high tech, but also fit the budget of beginners! Not to mention they might become sought after in the future. I'm very happy to own a few of the first issues! just my 5 grams..
There's no wrong or right with collecting....whatever makes sense to the individual. I think some of these silver notes look very cool but I just don't want to open another door or avenue of collecting....my small stack is already very diversified. Besides, I have to save money for future releases of sets I've already started to collect and want to complete if possible. .
Just for information, We are talking to PMG grading company to grade the silver note and hope it will accept a welcoming boost for paper note collector of this silver note. Likely it will grade in November 2016 in with PMG. The sell of the Monkey note as at last month is 3300 pieces. We left 60 pieces for sell and 20 pieces for collection. We target it will mint 3800-4200 pieces till end of the year. This consider as success for a series and item. The panda note minted 900 pieces within few months. We left 50 pieces. The 2 sides 3D panda minted less than 300 pieces and the die wear down and need severe repair. It highly possible not repair if the demand of the 2 sides 3D panda is not high to cover the repairing cost. It is not so desire sold volume for the panda note as comparing to the Lunar (monkey) notes. The overall buyers China and South East Asia. Europe and USA represent a very small % of total sold. This is very puzzle for us. Please takes some video and post here if you are those note collectors. We are working certain incentive for customer who purchase item from us to post the purchased item video on coins/note forums. Hope this able to help to grow the collectors of China medals and notes.
We are talking to Pmg to grade all notes in November 2016. This will help to gain recognization after grading
Take note Nanjing mint has minted around 1200 pcs of panda note which is first of the series. They will not mint the balance if no order above 500 pcs. Price has up due to 30 to 40 pcs left for sell only.
In china, only CGIC and Nanjing Mint silver note are graded by PMG as at today. This is form of recognition.

Very nice indeed, they look great! Was never too keen on the coloured panda note but these coloured lunar notes are way better.
