As first discussed in another thread this idea is for real money traders on SS to test their skills against each other for real cash moneys and (of course) bragging rights. Who's interested? To be agreed upon would be :- 1. Vehicle for the trading (eg, ASX trading game*, CFD demo accounts?) Vehicle needs to allow for high speed trading and transparency so that there is no cheating. 2. Buy in amount. 3. Third party for holding funds. I'd suggest that due to peoples different trading amounts the buy-in could be variable, and prize allocation could work on a pro-rata scale. To explain better (anyone who's played Texas Holdem and gone "All In" with a short stack will understand) If a player wants to only put up $100 they can, but they can only win the 1st $100 of each of the other players. If a player wants to put up $1,000 or $10,000 they can but they can only be beaten by other players up to the limit of the other players own stake. * The next ASX game starts on Aug 4 but only allows for trading the top 200 shares. If we want to use that we've only got 1 week to get sorted.
Wow. I totally misread the potential interest in something like this. But zero is zero after all... I knew there was a lot of hot air from wanna-be traders on SS, but I didn't think it was ALL hot air. :/
Baron keeps insisting on playing games, and he may have $50 to chip in? I'm happy to be the third party holding your money & I promise to put it to good use. Sorry, couldn't resist. SVL appears to be breaking out as we speak - will obviously need silver to continue higher to see any follow through.
It's been done before: http://forums.silverstackers.com/topic-50679-silver-stackers-super-trader-i-page-1.html Once someone got a good lead, interest dissolved. And if you take a look at the results, I have nothing left to prove. There are some decent traders on this forum, not all full of hot air.
You are referring to the fact that after 5 weeks you were up 0.46% (annualized at 4.78% during a bull market) on your money and that proves you are a good trader? Maybe I am missing something.
You are missing many things in regards to good trading. That tends to happen when you cherry-pick the information convenient to your cause... You tend to miss the relevant stuff.
