Hi people what are the go to choice of low premium bullion coins that doesn't milk as a norm which are available in Australia?

    Likely to milk spots:
Most coins from Perth mint (except eagle and lunars)
    anything from Canadian Mint,
    Philharmonics

These seem to have decent chance but not cheap
    Perth mint lunars and Eagles
    US Mint Eagles

Bullion coins are much more likely to develop milk spots than numismatic coins. That said, there are some numi coins that do develop milk spots but much less likely than bullion.

As for bullion only, BU Libertads seem to not have any bad press regarding milk spots developing.

The older style Libertads don't milk spot but the ones from 1996 forward do. I would say out of all my "newer" style Libertads, 75% have at least some spotting, it just doesn't look as bad as when the Canadian, Austrian, Great Britain, etc coins spot.

PS I don't have many Libertads post 2010 so I can't speak to the most recent years.

    Just my opinion.

I see that too. I've seen occasional spotting on newer Libertads but never on the ones from the 1980s. However, in my experience it is not too common at all (so far) with the new Libertads unless it is just harder to notice.

I've seen larger areas of milkiness on ASEs rather than frequent spots.

Probably the best option if you don't want to feel bad later about the condition of coins. And you can touch them and clean them without impacting the resale value.

Sorry for my noobish question, what are fiddies?:)

I guess I'm lucky, but only 2 rounds that I have with milk spots are Zombucks, first issue. I never bought another one.

I have some coins stored away so I need to check them. I mainly buy only (semi)numi stuff.

It's more a matter of which type of modern coins are more likely to milk. Different people will say different coins but I think more often than not, most might agree that RCM bullion has the highest proclivity toward milking.

I am not aware of milk spots on any modern antique finish coins. Also, the US Mint America The Beautiful -P (uncirculated version, not the bu version) appear to not have any milk problems at all that I'm aware of.
