Alan Greenspan urging for gold standard? Quite unusual for someone from someone coming from the Fed:

    It's here:

    ah yes.

you can bet your silver that any proposed gold standard by these people will be a last desperate alternative because the paper fiat game is far too profitable for them. in any case it will be a convoluted and complex system, once again designed to defraud to the max.

a simple system of one unit of gold permanently fixed to one unit of currency? nah, that would destroy their criminal enterprise.

edit: perhaps they are thinking of making fiat currencies backed by CRIMEX paper gold, where there is little to no gold backing that. a continuation of the "print as much as you like" kind of currency.

Slightly OT, but I cannot see Nth Ireland going independent. They would never join Catholic Ireland without an invasion.

.....or Scotland for that matter, that oil is not going to go on forever.

I would have to agree with randomname. There's no way the world banks are going to give up the right to print money. A gold standard would be an enormous restraint on people who want total control of our money and the world.

Another FIAT crisis might be coming in Italy. Plenty more upside for gold.

Uhhhhh Scotland and Northern Ireland have left the EU, or at least they were part of the referendum, I think he meant leave the UK and join the EU independently. There will likely be another referendum in Scotland anyway since thru voted (not by a huge margin) to stay in the EU but the UK was voting as a block and it was northern English districts that really tipped the scale.
