Picked this up the other day and took pictures with it over-top a US Silver Certificate:

Love Monarchs ingots! They are all handpoured and all have a "unique" look. I have a few on those 1oz bars and also quite a few 2oz bars. I think they even have a 3oz bar. O.O

    Bloody lovely.

We don't get variety like this in Australia without importing sadly.

That's the perfect 'play silver' ounce. No sharp edges and it'll fit in the hand wonderfully well.

The only question I have is...

    Where can I get one?

    ;)

I have seven of these! They were among my first silver purchase. Feel great to hold the little pirate treasure-esque lump. Also have one 2oz, five 3oz, and two 5oz (my favorite).

Unfortunately though, since it's not a bigger name, my local dealer didn't give me a great deal on them. 12oz Monarch for 10oz Engelhard bar... easy decline there. Monarch will pay back 99% of spot for their own bars, though, so I'll be able to get rid of them when necessary.

Currently unavailable on the monarch website, as are the 2oz's. :(

    50 oz's are available though!

Monarch just got over 100 back in stock, so feel free to order from them again. I just bought one today, $38.61 vs the $54 from ebay.

    And I bought an A-mark round/bar (we'll see what I get) for $38.66

From the reviews on their site they have extremely fast shipping in the states, I believe its priority. They added $4.95 for shipping.

Wow. The stuff on that Monarch site looks great, and prices seem so low! Drives me mad that none of those US sites ship to Aust. They have such good range and pricing... Love the look of those bars.

We really need another classy old school type mint that puts out products like this in Aust. I for one would support them. MMMm... i would possibly even invest in startup costs with like minded stackers,if the numbers crunched.
