Who knows? I personally think the establishment and central bankers are less likely to keep propping things up (kicking the can) if trump wins and also Trump is less likely to want to bail out big banks. Read into that what you like. 2+2=5??

No significant change. The president is a figurehead.

I bet you the establishment has something up it's sleeve to make Hilary Clinton (the career criminal) win presidency. :/

Trump or Clinton. Looks like we are in for trouble either way.

Double trouble. Just imagine the possibilities for a comedy-romance movie.

simple, convince Trump that Mexicans are vampires and that he has to make the wall out of silver to stop them then watch demand for silver push prices up.

But seriously I think Trump has a business man like plan to deal with the economy that will push the price of silver/gold up in USD
he will simply print the money needed to settle all foreign debt, de-monetize the old dollars then re-issue new "Trump" dollars that are backed by silver/gold thus re establishing the USD brand an minimising the fall out of his fiscal actions.
I also think that the way he is getting support to discriminate against foreigners mean that he will be able to implement some sort of policy that with allow American citizens to exchange their old dollars for new and minimise the domestic fallout

Americans aren't stupid just victims of well oiled publicity machine devoted & dominated to & by money, media, banking and corrupt politicians
Trump may just be the catalyst that ignites the winds of permanent change who knows.
The alternative for the American people is stick with what they have which as Eliassamaha pointed out would send them into a spiral of.what they already have

It would be interesting to compare the border controls of other countries to that of the US

On a lighter note why aren't people getting upset at the Chinese????
You can see their friggen wall from space!!!
Granted they didn't ask Mexico for money

For anyone interested, this article from The Atlantic, is quite insightful.

Trump isn't easily summarised and the author describes potential decisions and actions based upon Trump's psychoanalysis.

And a good reason to pray that Trump gets elected. Look at what the Nobel Peace prize winner has lined up and consider that Hillary would press the button if she thought it would get her a second term:

    But Trump is an isolationist.

Though I do wonder if he was seriously proposing taking the Iraq oil fields as reparations. (Reparations for what I can't imagine!)

Hillary Clintons statements are only 29% false? What a completely unbiased article

Even children can tell that Hillary lies through her teeth at every opportunity to get what she wants. She is probably the most dishonest person to ever stand for election. EVER.. She has literally been caught out lying on everything she has been involved with over the last 8 years.

Anyone who doesn't think that either Democrats or Republicans don't have a disaster of an individual as their presumptive nominee is either a political hack or is just not paying close enough attention.

Never in my memory could it be truer that Americans will be electing the worse of the two evils in November (assuming it will be Trump vs Clinton).

Just curious, you think Trump and Clinton are worse than Obama?

PS Look at what the current prez has allowed to happen. Funny, I don't hear folks on this blog saying anything bad about Obama? Why is that, just the sound of crickets. But lots of crap about Trump. I guess many here think Obama is a great prez and approve of his making the US into a progressive socialist utopia?

I don't care how bad Trump may behave or his crazy hair style, I'll take it- if it means stopping these turtle-heading policies.

Here is another great idea from this administration. Did you all know our national debt in the US doubled under the current administration (from roughly $10 Trillion to nearly $20 Trillion)? Yet everyone hates on Trump. LOL!

    Just my opinion.
