    hey all , got a phone call today saying I'm retenched from the coal mine I worked at, I'm getting a retenchment package so have 10k to spend question is what siver bars to buy ? what's members thought and plaese no dickhead comments

    10oz Perth Mint bars. They are very easy to flip if you have to bail. ;)

    This isn't intended to be a dickhead response but I think there's better places to park your money, sadly, like a bank.
    Spending 10k on silver at $22.30 doesn't make much sense unless you see evidence of some sort of run up, and there is nothing to suggest it's due, infact more likely to go the other way.

    Having said that, if someone gave me 10k and said I had to spend it on silver I'd probably buy 1oz lunars while there's no real demand for them, because that sentiment is bound to change at some point in the future.

    Careful, that is a defeatist attitude before you've even laid down your hard-earned.
    Time-frame matters not... it is the return p.a. that makes an good investment.
