As title says, I cant see any markings indicating that this is sterling silver or silver of some type, I think its maybe a pewter ???

I have read up on the hallmarks and can see its from the maker "Hillard & Thompson", Birmingham, and the year early 1900's I'm putting it down to ???

I'm just curious if this piece would be worth getting appraised ? (please see photos)
