Watched a documentary about Trump on T.V last night.

He really is serious about all the stuff he says he's going to do and some voters just absolutely love him.

I have made my mind up that I think he should win the election.

He says he going to get rid of the 20Trillion dollar debt and 'make America great again'.

If he does do this there may be no risk of a U.S economic collapse which would really be great for the world.

What are other stackers thoughts about him?

I can see how some live trump.
Just like Rudd, Abott and Gillard they all had high support at one stage.

If you are just talking about economic collapse then I think it's more likely Trump will bring it forward rather than prevent it.

But with a decent business background and real experience in dealing with bankruptcy, he may actually be the most qualified person to guide the US through the collapse and come up with a decent solution to bring the US out of it quicker than many would.

Under Hillary it'll just be more of the same as Obama. Tax, spend and print money. Kick the can, kick the can, kick the can. Oops, we just ended up with a 20 year depression....

I Didn't see any credible pay from Trump to pay off the $20 Trillion in debt.

You would have to be insane to consider it even a remote possibility.

I'm not sure exactly how he has said he will do it but I do know he mentioned it would take two terms to do it (8years).

Mind you everytime I think about such a MASSIVE, HUGE, INSANE amount of debt I just shake my head in disbelief and wonder how the Fed ever thought all the printing could ever be paid back.

Yes it would be extreemely hard to get rid of this much debt in 8years.

So far he's said he will renegotiate trade deals with China - like that is actually possible,

and then he said he could sell national assets

In reality the only way to eliminate those debts is to default on them,
or just print $20 trillion new dollars and pay them back

Trump could simply continue the plan to destroy the dollar, (spend big on towers), induce hyperinflation (go bankrupt) to eliminate the debt, put down the rioting cities (be strong), announce a new dollar backed with gold (re-incorporate), and handover reserve currency to the SDR. (return to core business).

It doesn't make one iota of difference what his policies or anyone else's policies are the debt will be defaulted on.

I think Trump is more likely to restructure/default the debt than ANYONE, GOP or DEM. Trump come from the private sector and declaring bankruptcy is not the end of the world. Trump is more likely to accuse China/Japan of being loan shark and defaulting on the debt is the moral thing to do

I think it was Jim Rickards just last week on youtube saying Trump has spoken about going back to the Gold standard even though it would be very hard for the U.S to do.

    Lets hope!!!

The forum has lost its way.

How can anyone take any of these people seriously?

All the candidates say that they are going to achieve completely impossible and often mutually exclusive tasks, every president who actually gets elected then spectacularly fails and people even on this forum say maybe "this new guy! I think he can do it!"

The only consistent pattern is each one is worse than the last, as past failings mount up.
