It may be that the thumbscrews are tightening on the fiat system. Are they really this perplexed? It used to be that previously the US congress had oversight, now it seems the treasury secretary has the final word? Am I reading this correctly? Why are they asking us for our input, don't they normally do things and then tell us, what's up? This doesn't come as a total shocker but it seems as though they are talking about quality and quantity towards boullion in this article as well as circulated coinage? Things are really wrong here in the new world or really bad journalism or just me, probally just the noob, sorry.
