Woow! If she meets Britannia she would chop her head off in a second and make a carpet out of lion. I might like this coin even more than Odin, which is very big compliment for a second coin, and considering Odin is the "master".
Really? Is that supposed to be a valkyrie? What's with the wings? To much artistic freedom for my taste
If the Valkyrie on the actual coin looks anywhere as good as the drawing in the box, it will be a stellar coin. By the way, db23, could you update us on the free free Valkyrie giveaway that you mentioned earlier in this thread? .
they rode winged stallions if you want to be honest to the mythology, not that it matters given how the interpretation has changed over time. I am very interested to see how that sketch is sculpted, going to be incredibly difficult to replicate.
Thank you for sharing images of this stunning coin. I can't wait to see the actual coin, it is going to be a hard work for the sculptor that has to replicate all those details. Alex.
You do that and take away every picture that is 15 years or younger, after you do that you may allso read about the valkyre and tell me where it says that they are winged lol lol lol
Heres a sculpture of valkyrie that was done in 1835, looks like wings to me. https://commons.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Valkyrie_(1834-1835)_by_H._W._Bissen.jpg
I hope this super duper long ass delay in between releases doesn't make alot of people lose interest in this series.
You cannot rush the work of the Gods lest they become angry and smite your coins with a plague of milk spots.
