    make taxis more expensive for the customer? are they trying to help taxis or uber?

    It was probably the taxi industry themselves that lobbied for compensation.

    What a load of bullshit.....so someone comes out with a business model that beats the poor ripoff taxi drivers & provides a competitive market? So the option is to give away tax payer's money?

    This government has its head so far up its ass its not funny, please come back down to earth......oh yeah & live within your means please Mr Turnbull (born with a silver spoon up your ass)

    So NSW offered a $250 million package to its taxi industry and SA is spending another $34 million in compensation of tax payer's money to fund a private business organisation ... while they talk of belt tightening and further tax increases on the public ...
