    Could it be a cut down 10 oz bar? I notice no fineness markings or weight or metal type markings. Seems a bit weird to me

    Interesting bar, though I'd rather buy alot of gold coins for that price :p

    Its a piece of extruded silver that is rolled usually to cut blanks from!

    Plenty of videos on extruded lengths of silver,this piece of industrial silver has Englehard stamped on it so just an englehard off cut.

    it does look like the butt end of a stretch of silver to me as well, even if it is a little too wide (which could be because it hadn't done all its passes).

    So the butt end of an extrusion strip of silver gets struck ( Very weak strike to boot ) with Engelhard, and it's worth big money ?
