Only have enough for 1 roll - which does everyone think would be the better investment - koalas, kooks or wedge-tailed eagles?

They're all around the same price for a roll.

    Cheers :)

My money is on the Kooks too!

This desighn will be a close second to the 2008 in a few years but thats just my opinion.

Second I would choose the Koala because you just cant go wrong with them.

Last the bad desighn of the new WTE which has made the superb 2014-2015,s stand alone in Perth Mint Bullion coin quality, the 2016 on the other hand is more like the RCM birds of prey series. :)

I would definitely bet on WTE as this is first year of a new design.

Kooks, but Koalas are a more limited mintage (for the first time ever?)

Kooks, no question. Most recognized. Great series. It is nice like the 2008.

This, and it surprised me too.

I have a feeling this year was going to be one that you were going to see a big uptick in Kook and Koala sales for all the obvious reasons that you can think of. So to see that for the first time they limited the mintage blows my mind.

What are they going to do when they are sold out. And just to put it out there the retailers are already jacking up the price on kooks because they are already sold out of the mintage from perth mint, the koalas are only going to be half that so I expect them sold out soon too. And its only april!

They must have plans for other releases once they are done. The only other thing I can think of is that they really want to push over to the new Kangaroos as the standard coin from here. Possibly to really push the end of caps as well?

Either way I grabbed another 3 rolls of Koalas this week, and will continue to do so until they are gone I think. Because I really do think we are going to just see interest in PM grow and grow moving forward and I think before the EOFY both the Kooks and Koalas will already be sold out of mintage already!

I also picked up some Koalas when the spot price dropped recently.

There's also 50,000 privy 2016 kooks this year.

Yes I should have said they suck! as well lol

Who said (TassiChismy) this is the first year of a new desighn? could be the first of many designs changed every year putting them straight into the RCM Birds of Prey basket!

Grab those 2014/2015 WTE while everyone is still confused about the WTE,s future because PM is just as confused about them it seems!
