I picked up one of these today and I can't find anything online about silver content, etc. I am thinking it might not even be silver. I bought it and the guy at the coin store told me it was .999 and weighed 28+ grams. I weighed at home and got 28.4 grams. Neat looking coin. Kind of a hokey COA doesn't say what it is, but says it's "genuine". I hope these aren't on Aliexpress. Here is a photo I found online. http://www.icollector.com/10-00-coin-2009-cook-island-golden-gate-bridge-coin_i20813816 Thanks for any info! Jim
Looking at that COA, I knew that it had something to do with Govmint... http://www.brandontamm.com/collectible-america/ Perhaps GovMint, MCM, New York Mint, Asset Marketing - or whatever other names they go by these days... can help you.
Thanks for the tip. I couldn't resist and did a careful "ping" test and it sounds like silver, I think. Jim
