The coin market is still a bit of a mystery to me. You have utter crap (like the gods of olympus - g.o.o.) from the Perth Mint selling out while on the other hand much, much better quality coins from small mints don't do nearly as well.

I mean in one respect I totally get that high turnover has nothing to do with quality but rather with inundation of the marketplace and hype....I do get that. And along with that, it may actually work out well in the long run for high quality coins / medals which don't have a high turnover - because at least their prices don't get overly high immediately so that those who want to buy them early on can actually afford them.

But in the long run, after the hype of the poor quality coins has long died down, I believe the high quality coins will be more appropriately valued by collectors.

I suppose time will tell if in 5 to 10 years the crap PM g.o.o coins will be finally seen as the joke that they are by coin enthusiasts or not. I'll put my money on Choice Mint's Odin coin to outperform the g.o.o. down the road some.

Wow....talk about extremely poor service from your local carrier (I'm assuming that the carrier screwed up).

I have no idea what is on other side of this coin, neither.

But I bought them ( more than 1 ), anyway.

For no reason, just like it.

This is what collectors do, like it, buy it.

p.s. Just like I love 3 oz Odin Silver Coin, love it, bought bunch of them. lol.

First sample is in my hand now, we should have the second sample by Friday - we expect this one to be the finished product. Just holding this first one in my hand, it is really really cool maybe even better than Odin. :D

If All is as expected, we should be able to unveil in another week or two. Once we show this one, we'll also announce the 3rd coin in the series which is again a really great design.

It's not about the horse, but they made it about the horse. LMAO. Legend of Asgard, is the best, period, end of story. And this is not a paid advertisement. :))

Certainly the PM Odin is a better quality design that their garbage Globs of Olympuss, but it still can't touch the Legends of Asgard Odin coin.

Go with the 199.00, since the others don't have gold glitter sprinkled on them. Just trying to make an extra buck is all.
