Hello ninteno, long time no talk, I hope you are in good health.

This card is definitely not an official RAM card. So it hasn't been recycled from an earlier year.

I can't help thinking that I have seen this card before somewhere though (attached to a different year's coin).

I think that card comes from a Downies generic 1 oz. It is definitely a slap together job.

    Thanks silver kook.

If you manage to find another pic of this generic Downies card, please post it (I've looked) :)

I've also seen that card with a different year (generic) roo in it, I reckon that is just a slapped up job, would have been interesting to see the back of the card.

I agree with everyone else, it seems like a slap together. I reviewed all the past years cards and they ALL have the year on the card.

    Hi,

If it helps at all I can tell you that the 2007 Roo in the blue card shown on the first page of this thread (with all the other carded roos) is the one we created for the 2007 Rolf Harris Silver Frosted Uncirculated Kangaroo that year. The pack that was used for the eBay listing shown by rbaggio IS one of our cards as well, but we never used it for the 2007 Kangaroo. I don't have complete information at this time (can possibly dig it up) but I believe, as someone suggested, it was a generic card pack that we used several years before the 2007 Roo. It's likely that someone (the eBay seller or previous buyer) had the Roo, either bought from another supplier and our original card was damaged somehow, and they have put it in the generic card pack.

If there's any other info I can help you with in regards to this please don't hesitate to ask.

    Kind regards,

    Renee

Thank you Renee, I think the collective suspected as such.

    Thanks for the confirmation :)
