But there's a catch... Source: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/5-pc...ce-Silver-Plated-Koala-Coins/32582070404.html
These things are obviously cheap to churn out in China. I have an idea. Maybe ask them to do a full range of Perth Mint coins, but replace the Queens head with me and call them SilverPete pirate bucks. ,
They wont look like that they will be proof like, they use the original bullion version image just for show. The problem is many of those who buy these coins from ebay re scummers dont know what the originals are like and end up very happy with a super shiny proof looking coin.
Guys!!! This is not reall silver!!! Notice the " .....Silver PLATED Koala coins....."!!!! They are only plated with silver!!
I am sure fake re sellers read through these threads for ideas on how to fool people! Lucky I live in Perth and most of my silver is Perth Mint from the mint or Perth Bullion but its getting to the point now where it will be Perth Mint products all the way for my stack and coins from those two sources, apart from my 2 ASE,s per release from PB. Safest bet outside Perth Mint for me are my small hand pours from trusted hobbyist refiners, even if the odd one come up under .999 at least it wouldnt be plated and worthless!
I am new ye I see now u are already pointing that out. I just flew over the post and saw that, i thought u guys are really thinking that is true Ah well i will get better
