Received mine today. Finish is fantastic (as above). I wanted to add this as a happy end note to the epic sale thread but I couldn't find it. The small cloth pouch it came in is a really nice touch as well. Well done Silver Fox.
Hi, very nice. Quick question, I see from your pics the bigger bar is 100g, the smaller one (although both stunning) looks sensational. It looks a lot more thickset, is it also 100g or 80g or ?, with the stamping, size, white space etc looks slightly more aesthetically pleasing? Nice pic by the way.
Love these SF small pour bars, I have quite a few now,Craig puts a lot of work into finishing them and I think the pouches are a special little touch from his wife ? Anyway my latest bar is on its way so will add a pic to this thread when it arrives.
Just wanted to let you all know I have recently sent off a mixed sample from the last three batches I have refined which includes bars 97, 98, 99 and 100 for assay to P W Beck and am expecting results any day will post results when they arrive. My last assay was by XRF which is very reliable, this sample will be assayed by fire which is even more so. the catch is you don't get your sample back as you would with XRF. Belvedere is right that sales thread was epic, some people just cant understand the process no matter how you explain it, for these people I offer a consulting service you can contact me for the fee. Fishtaco is also right, the missus organized the packaging. Thanks for all the kind words guys I've always said if something is worth doing its worth doing properly, and because I absolutely love my business I always put my heart and soul into each bar.
Thanks for sharing this post. Not one to give praise on coins or bars, but these are beautiful...Well done to silverfox and nice pickup SP.
All the "9,s" my latest SF hand pour! Bar #099 with 99.9 grams of 999 silver Been in my pocket since Thursday for luck! Craig knows from previous bars I purchased from him that I like swirls so he didnt disappoint with this beauty,he usually polishes the swirls out.
Here is my latest assay results from PW Beck. Just got it today. It was done by XRF not fire as I asked for, but still good. and the result speaks for itself.
They are unscratched! the small marks on my bar #099 you can see are from me carrying it around in my pocket a few days for luck and cleaning it regularly with a kitchen paper towel! SF Craig puts a lot of elbow grease into polishing his bars, me on the other hand am just a "no gloves" silver fondling grub
