The year has just begun and i spotted already three new very nice Silver Maple leaf coins; two are availiable, the third i saw only on Apmex, does not know if this is a hoax or real and if the coin is widly available on bigger mintage. In my opinion it is the nicest coin of them all. Watch also the hyperlink movie i found of this coin: https://vimeo.com/150898539

The second coin is the first first release in a new series of six "Wild Canada" privy-marked Silver Maple Leaf bullion coins from the Royal Canadian Mint has sold out its entire mintage of 50,000 coins. Featuring a howling wolf privy mark. The next coin in the series, which features a roaring grizzly bear, will be launched in early 2016 with a mintage also limited to only 50,000 examples world-wide.

The third coin, i could purchase, but i does not know anything about it and what the mintage is, it looks a special edition; i couldn't find anything on the internet so far about this coin; when i have it home, i will make better pictures of it.

The reverse proof maples are turning out to be the new lunars.

Actually, I think there are 5 Silver Maple Privy coins so far/scheduled for 2016:

    Lunar Monkey
    Wolf
    Yin Yang
    Panda Bear
    Mark V Tank

I think i have read that they are all "limited" to 50,000 except the Monkey which is 25K.

On the Apmex site its written that the maple privy panda comes in mint seal per 10 pieces so not in a tube of 25 is that a fact !

I'm not so sure I agree with 'nope , not prone to spotting.' I have some of the Titanic privy from 2012, and those definitely show spots, albeit, they are hidden pretty well with the finish they use, but they are there, make no mistake about it. I'd take pictures, but they are buried in my treasure box.

The reverse proof maples are beautifull coins and superior to the normal maple leaf
i bought some tubes in the past and they always sell with a nice profit
i think the panda privy will be a big succes just like the wolf

I believe mint-sealed maples are less likely to develop spots. That's smart of them there.
