    I just wish he would spend more time getting answers instead of asking very very long questions.

    I can't get sick of watching these 2 go at it. Ben gets his pants pulled down everytime & in true American arrogance can't see this & goes on thinking he's right & everyone else is wrong.

    B.S Bernanke, can only assume what the B.S stands for.

    I don't care what anyone says, Ron Paul is a lousy speaker... he blather's on and goes off on tangents...just hit the guy with a straight question forcrissakes!!!

    In this session (the larger video), Ron Paul looked like a silly old fool ..even Ben was rolling his eyes at him.

    You might be right but Ron knows he's not going to get the right answer so is smart enough to tell the audience the right answer before he asks BS Benanke the question.

    It's basically what you have to do when you know the person is going to flat out lie & say whatever he wants.

    I subcontract to an american firm & they constantly lie in meetings so we have to apply the same trick. It's the only way an audience hears the truth.

    The trick is to 'frame' a question so they can't lie without contraticting themselves or looking like an idiot. Our radio jurnos and cleverer politicians do it all the time, problem is, our politicians have no qualms whatsoever about lying and looking like idiots, eg;

    Mr "P.P.", in light of the fact that you've said "X" and now "Y" about the colour of grass, does that now mean that "Z" is not an option?

    He whom frames the question, wins the debate!

    Yeah it's hard to prove someone is lying, you're right, best to get them to contradict themselves.

    Tough ask when they are prepared to say what they need. They are the ones who need to remember their lies though. That's how you set the trap, remember thier lies.

    I agree that he lacks eloquence and succinctness.

    If only there was someone like Ron Paul but with Obama's slick public speaking voice. Although Obama's speech flow drives me insane - the way he pauses for dramatic effect all the time. (George Bush is like all the bad public speaking qualities of Ron Paul and Obama put together!)

    i think ben really starts to play into ron paul's hand around 4:20 when he talks about the purchasing power of the dollar.

    as mentioned above, if paul were more concise he would have had the time to jump all over BB's reply by asking how is it a good thing to have a system where the purchasing power is in constant decline over the long run.

    i think paul is going to make alot of noise in seeking the GOP nomination for 2012. will be interesting to hear the position of all of the financial "experts" the MSM wrangles up to discredit him.
