For anyone who wants a cool way to store your silver that doesn't fit in with your collection, or as a gift for someone, check out what I made. I bought the metal case, it was about $8 and is actually a business card holder. It works great, and is well made. I simply cut out some foam and placed my 3 one ounce intrinsic tender bars in there. Eventually, when I'm back at work, I'll print out a business card sized bit of paper with the intrinsic tender label on it and slide it the top of the case. Pretty cool hey?
That photo could be 10 oz or 1 kilo or 5 kilo bars. without any thing to have beside for reference it is deceiving. I was very surprised to read they are 1 ounce bars. Thanks
Yeah they do look bigger than what they are, just goes to show the quality of the little case. Cables in the background give it away though, but, I guess they could be hoses If I became the incredible shrinking man, I would probably use this case and the cocktail umbrella. Don't know how well the umbrella would hold up though.
Never heard of it. So, I did a google search and damn it looks almost exactly the same. Only difference may be (on the pic I saw) that it doesn't have the little plastic sleeve on the inner lid, but, very very similar, I'd say it is the same manufacturer for sure
If I was a stacker I would agree with you, but I'm not. This is just for fun or for gifts, I think it works alright for that. Also saw that I can buy these things for about $4 on ebay, so I could have got it for cheaper.
